New Jersey Residents Feel Virginia Quake

Did you feel New Jersey moving yesterday? If so, you may have just felt the 5.9 magnitude quake which originated in central Virginia. According to the U.S. Geological survey, at 1:51 p.m. on Tuesday a 5.9 magnitude quake hit Virginia. Tremors from the quake were felt as far south as North Carolina and as far north as Boston. No major damage or injuries were reported and New Jersey kept on running as usual. It was just quite interesting to be a part of the random quake from New Jersey. Surprising to some, this is not the first time that New Jersey has experienced an earthquake. Back in February 2009, a series of four earthquakes hit Morris County, with the largest quake reaching a magnitude of 3.0. Later that year in December, a 2.5 magnitude quake hit the same area. Then in 2010, two small earthquakes hi Somerset County in February, with the larger quake measuring a 1.5 magnitude. Now, the threat of more quakes isn't going to make you call a New Jersey moving company, is it?
