The national average for work commute travel is 25.3 minutes, for New Jersey residents, it's 34.6 minutes. Sure, taking 34.6 minutes to get to work does not sound that bad, but it is a whole 9 minutes more than most commutes.But a cool statistic discovered through this is that 31% of New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island metro area workers use public transportation to get to work. But, you know, you can always hire a New Jersey moving company and live closer to your place of employment.
