Residents of New Jersey are still recovering from
the aftermath of last weekend's Hurricane Irene. The Passaic River, (as well as
many other bodies of water), has flooded, sending rushing water into the
streets. This water has overtaken cars, sewers and more, ending up in people's
homes and businesses. This nasty mix of water is being cleaned up by HAZMAT,
but it will be some time before everything returns to normal. While the river
is receding, residents still have to boil their water, but that still
doesn't exactly do the trick. New Jersey has been officially declared a federal
disaster area, and 84,000 homes and businesses throughout the state remain
without power. I'm sure New Jersey movers are very tempting right
now, but stick it out, things will get better!
